Among all Disney remakes released during the past years, The Lion King (2019) is by far the most popular. Remaining true to The Lion King (1994) animation, the same story was retold via CGI.
Unless one has been living under a rock, the plot is known. Those with weak memory can be helped watching this 2019 remake and enjoy the Jungle scenery with animals having human-like feelings, morals, entertainment and politics.
This remake offers nothing to the original film and we are happy with that. The 1994 animation is perfect as it is. We just needed an excuse to watch the same story again and we got that.
