People who like only good movies can skip the whole DC Extended Universe with the exception of Wonder Woman (2017). A direct sequel, the fourth film featuring the character, is Wonder Woman 1984 (2020) but does not make better than most other DCEU films
This film succeeds in setting that 1980s mood but in a wrong way. The overall quality, rushed scenes and bad special effects are similar to movies from the 80s area. Except the script, back then movie studios didn't start high budget productions based on rubbish.
The original movie was so good that we ignored its little silliness. Unfortunately the production failed to understand what made their first movie good and the 1984 sequel just focused on the silliness. Also, film makers should stop overthinking by making super heroes to loose their powers. It is not interesting anymore, just show them for what they are.
