I am just amazed. Watching WALL·E (2008) twelve years after it's release left me speechless. I recall 2008 when all critics were very positive. Today I finally understand and it should not have taken me so long.

The film is about the robot WALL·E (Waste Allocation Load Lifter: Earth Class). This is powered by solar energy, so it still works 700 years after Earth has become uninhabitable. One glitch though, WALL·E has develop human-like emotions and feels lonely.

Reasoning I skipped this movie back in the day is because I do not favor the art style. Truth is, it has not aged well either. However, you should not make the mistake of thinking like that. You can see it as an excellent book with a bad cover. You only have to open it and understand the points.
