Birds of Prey / Harley Quinn (2020) is the eight film in DC Extended Universe and a sequel to Suicide Squad (2016). Those two movies feel different and the only thing they have in common is Margot Robbie (as Harley Quinn), the only actress that is remembered after watching both movies.
Nobody liked Jared Leto (as Joker) in Suicide Squad (2016) so he had to go from Birds of Prey (2020). HQ and J were separated somewhere between the movies and Harley Quinn no longer has Joker's protection. Since both good and bad guys hate her, she is now hunted by everyone.
Before release, the planned title was just "Birds of Prey". It changed to this eleven words monstrosity as the film is mostly Margot Robbie. It would have been more accurate in just two words "Harley Quinn" as it was never intended to utilize any other cast member.
